Email support
Tell us what happened, your phone model, operating system and the app version from Settings → About. Include the steps that led to the issue, not passwords, private health records or progress photos. If a screenshot helps, remove personal information first.
Health permissions
Health sync is optional. You can keep logging workouts without it. Grant only the data types you want to share, in each direction.
iOS · Apple Health
Open Health → your profile picture → Privacy → Apps (or Apps and Services) → Loadcell. Review the categories Loadcell may read or write. You can also search for Health in Settings. Labels vary by iOS version. If Loadcell is not listed, start the health connection in Loadcell first.
Android · Health Connect
Open Settings → Health Connect → App permissions → Loadcell and review read and write access. On some versions, use Settings → Security & privacy → Privacy controls → Health Connect, or open the Health Connect app. Search Settings for “Health Connect” if the path differs.
Turning a permission off stops future access; it does not remove records already copied. Manage existing records in the relevant app. When the same body value changes in both places, the newest value wins.
Import formats
Keep your original export. Review the preview and column matching before saving. AI reading is a separate opt-in step, not a requirement for standard imports.
| Format | Supported data |
|---|---|
| Strong | Workout history from a Strong export; automatically detected. |
| Hevy | Workout history from a Hevy export; automatically detected. |
| CSV columns | One row per set; match date, exercise, set, reps and weight columns in the preview. |
| Excel | Spreadsheet history with a column-matching step you confirm. |
| Plans | Spreadsheet plans converted into programs after review. |
Export Google Sheets to a supported spreadsheet format first. YouTube links can attach to an exercise for form reference. See import privacy and AI processing before choosing the optional AI reader.
Known issues
Loadcell is in beta. Known issues are listed in the app under Settings → About → Release notes. What you get describes what the beta includes; watch companions are planned after launch.
If something fails, keep your original data and email us before reinstalling or clearing storage. Those actions can remove local-only records.
Machine integration status
Coming soon, after hardware validation. Integration with a Bluetooth smart cable machine is not available in the beta. The machine is optional. Follow the validation status and notification list.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Workouts and history work offline. Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want account backup and sync through our Azure backend in India. Photo backup is a separate encrypted opt-in.
How do I delete my account?
Use Settings → Account and backup → Delete account, or email support if you cannot use the app. Read the deletion instructions before removing data you may want to keep.
How do I leave the beta email list?
Use the unsubscribe link in a beta email or email support. Unsubscribing from the list does not itself delete your app account.
